3 Easter Treats You Can Make This Weekend!

Looking for the perfect way to add a little sweetness (and cuteness!) to your Easter weekend? Whether you're hosting brunch, filling baskets, or just looking for a fun project with the kids, these three festive Easter treats are guaranteed to impress.

The best part? Each one can be made with simple ingredients and shaped into adorable bunnies or eggs—because everything tastes better when it’s cute, right?

1. Easter Cinnamon Rolls (3 Ways!)

There’s something so comforting about a warm, gooey cinnamon roll—and this weekend, we’re giving them a fun Easter twist by shaping them into bunnies! Ears, tail, and all. 🐰

You can use any of my go-to cinnamon roll recipes, depending on how much time you’ve got:

  • Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls – Perfect for the planner. These are soft, slightly tangy, and totally worth the long ferment.

  • Yeast Cinnamon Rolls – Fluffy and sweet with a quicker rise time. Ideal for weekend brunch prep!

  • Refrigerated Hack – Need something super quick? Grab a tube of store-bought cinnamon rolls and shape them into bunnies before baking. Voilà—Easter magic in minutes.

Once they’re out of the oven, drizzle them with cream cheese glaze and maybe even add a little sprinkle tail. Your brunch table just got a whole lot cuter.

2. Easter Bunny Churros

Who doesn’t love a churro? Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and covered in cinnamon sugar. For Easter, we’re taking the classic churro and turning it into a festive treat by shaping them into bunnies or eggs before frying.

This is such a fun project to do with kids or guests—let everyone shape their own before frying. Once golden, roll them in cinnamon sugar and serve warm with chocolate or caramel sauce for dipping. It’s playful, delicious, and totally Instagram-worthy. ✨

3. Bunny Sourdough Loaf

If you’ve been following along with my sourdough journey, you know how much I love shaping loaves—and this one is a showstopper. I’ve created a Bunny Sourdough Loaf that's both beautiful and totally functional (yes, you can actually eat it… but you may not want to, it’s so cute).

Whether you’re a seasoned sourdough baker or just getting started, I’ve got you covered with a step-by-step video tutorial and full recipe to help you create this loaf. It makes an adorable centerpiece for your Easter table or a thoughtful gift wrapped in linen and twine.

Final Thoughts

These treats are more than just food—they’re memories in the making. Whether you’re shaping cinnamon roll bunnies with your kids or proudly pulling a golden bunny loaf from the oven, I hope your kitchen is filled with laughter, sweetness, and just the right amount of flour in your hair.

Let me know if you try any of these this weekend! Tag me @491WestMainSt so I can see your beautiful creations. 💛
