Because life’s too short for things you don’t love.
Hey friends!
Last month’s very first edition of West Main Picks was such a huge hit! I can’t thank you enough for all the love and excitement you shared! I had so much fun putting together my July favorites, and it’s been even more fun seeing so many of you try them out yourselves.
Because you all showed up in such a big way, I decided to keep the celebration going… yes, I’m doing another GIVEAWAY! One lucky reader will snag one of this month’s picks to take home and enjoy.
For August, I leaned into cozy, late-summer living with products that make everyday moments a little more special. Whether that’s in the kitchen, around the house, or just giving yourself something sweet to look forward to.
Here’s what made the cut for August:

1. The Amazon Viral Sweater
You know when the internet actually gets it right? This is one of those times. The Amazon Viral Sweater lives up to the hype... it’s soft, slouchy in all the right ways, and somehow looks put together even when I just throw it on with sweats. I love that it’s lightweight enough for chilly August evenings but still layers beautifully once fall really sets in. It’s been on repeat for me, and I can guarantee you’ll see me wearing it on Soup Sundays this season. AND it comes in a bunch of fun colors!
2. Pesticide Purifier with Tub Bundle by Garrnish - GIVEAWAY
If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I’m in my from-scratch era, and that means washing lots of fresh produce. This vegetable washing basin from Garrnish has been a total game changer. It’s big enough to soak a whole bundle of greens plus it drains easily without making a mess. It’s one of those simple tools that just makes cooking from scratch feel smoother and more enjoyable.
3. My FAVORITE Drinking Glasses from Amazon
Sometimes it’s the little upgrades that make home feel extra special. I grabbed this set of drinking glasses from Amazon on a whim, and I’ve been reaching for them nonstop. They are made of recycled glass, have little bees on them, and they instantly make a simple iced coffee or sparkling water feel like something you’d be served at a café. Bonus: they hold up beautifully in the dishwasher, which makes them an automatic win in my book.
4. Chef Glory Vacuum Sealer
Soup season is around the corner, and I cannot stop raving about this compact little vacuum sealer from Chef Glory. It makes meal prep so much easier. I use it to portion and store leftovers, freeze extra veggies, or seal up cuts of meat without worrying about freezer burn. It barely takes up any counter space and has honestly become one of those “how did I live without this?” gadgets in my kitchen.
5. My Favorite Fall Stems from Amazon
Confession: I’ve already started sprinkling little bits of fall around the house. These faux stems are my go-to for the season, tucked into a vase, styled on a shelf, or mixed with fresh flowers. They instantly add that cozy, autumn feel without screaming pumpkin spice explosion. I love having a few sets on hand because they make transitioning into the season so easy (and budget-friendly).
